One Eyed Jacks was one of my favorites as well. Karl Malden played a similar part (that of a 'back stabber') in the movie with Steve McQueen as Max Sand called "Nevada Smith".

He wasn't so much a 'back stabber' as he was just a bad guy .... where he killed Smith's parents and raped his mother. Nevada Smith (Max Sand) eventually tracked him down and even though he had planned to kill Malden, he relented in the end and allowed him to live ..... although shot to hell and back and likely to suffer the rest of his life.

I shall return this PM. Gonna see if I have something more interesting than my typical boring life...... :D

Sorry, guys, need a bit of time - I found some interesting stuff, but I have to find a way to get it from my old camera (yikes, did he say "digital camera?!") to my computer!

Tomorrow, I promise!

OK, here I go!

One of the few times I was lucky enough to have traveled outside CONUS.....

Let's start with the most difficult one:

So, that was intentional, the wall on the left. Kinda looks like the folks were inside a snow globe, right? ;) So, that's a clue!

OK, the next two are pretty easy - most of you have probably seen one or the other in a TV show or movie.

^ Sorry this last one is blurry. This was in 2010, and I took this picture on a digital camera, without stabilization. It's the prettiest that I got of that building, though, so I thought I'd use it. Sadly, I didn't have a room there, but the hosts paid for a wonderful spread for dinner down in their amazing garden.

I didn't get to live in the other building, either. 😅 I'm just a mere peasant!
