Pint-Sized 22s: What Good are They?

I don't know man. I don't think I would want a nazi gun. As far as American Indian guns, they were just as likely carried by Indians. There are a bunch and with provenance. Markings that can place them in the hands of specific plains indians at specific battles. There was an auction about a year ago. Sadly almost everything was out of my price range. I would pay big money for Sitting Bull's 1876.

Hans, consider this: The Jews themselves weren't above using ex-Naxi stuff in their War of Liberation. They took what they could get. They flew Czech-built Bf-109s (Avia S.199s) and used both Czech and Naxi-built K.98 Mauser rifles--I now own one.

Frankly, I wouldn't worry about it. There's a strong possibility that your PPK wasn't used to murder Jews--even a probability, in fact. And if you decide you can't live with any possibility, and want to dispose of it but don't want to deal with anyone who would want it, you've now been given two great ideas of what you can do with it in an honest and respectful way. ;)

Be at peace, my friend. ;)

I have been using replica pellet guns for years,my next one will be a MOD-2 replica.

How do you like that 351C Hans?
Love it. It’s got marginally more recoil than the 43C (which means, almost none), and it’s a little tack driver; going 7 out of 7 on a 25yd, 6” plate is easy.

It’s an almost constant carry pistol; either as primary or BUG; and the Hornady CritDef rounds have shown to be pretty effective in testing.

I think I’m going to put a XS tritium front on it soon.

Good to hear. I'm pretty sure that's my next purchase, and probably sooner than later. 👍

Very, VERY cool. I've gotten heavily into replica pellet/BB guns in the last two years.

I have about 6 or 7 of these old Crosman 38s, in both calibers and both barrel lengths. Sadly, only one is working, a 6" .22. All the others need to have their seals replaced. I need to do that.

What's a MOD-2?

If you're interested in any of the Umarex/legends CO2 guns, Pyramydair.com has them on sale for 20% off right now--GREAT time to buy, as they're made in Taiwan, which could be gone any day. PM me your email and I'll forward you the sale email, which has the "secret code" to unlock the deal.

Ah, cool. I think PA has a 20% off sale on them right now.

BTW, I have the SA 1911 Mil-Spec. Liked it so much that I bought two more while I still could, because I don't ever want to be without one again. ;)

I'm thinking a CCW 22 is to stop the threat -- not necessarily kill the threat. If I can put one in each shoulder and one in the groin, the threat goes down -- then I run like the wind.
