WELLL i picked it up this morning
have to mount the optics, clean and make her feel like part of the family now
best part, all the extra free stuff was already there, no waiting on the mail
was ......this...close to picking up the kimber 1911, but the department of da fense was giving me the eye ball

i went to mount the viridian optics and its missing one screw..
i may go visit a store in the am to see if they have one
they are closed now for the weekend

i found an exact match screw in my box O goodies and got the optic mounted....
ohh happy days
i still need to grab a few more, i can see loosing one

plus i saw some neat hogdon optics that are solar powered,
i need to read up on them

Nice pickup, congrats, don’t feel bad, my new Beretta didn’t come with a manual either, found that out when I tried to disassemble it and couldn’t and looked for the manual…..

i searched amazon and was left cold
found a bunch of machine screw places..but a not the 7.6 mm length
found a bunch o 8 mm
i need m3 x .05 x 7.6 mm
8 mm is only .4 longer i am sure i can remove that little bit if clearance on the slide is an issue

Perhaps C&H Precision, BattleWerx, JagerWerks?

I ordered an extra set of screws from C&H when I got my plate for my first optic on my XD9 Mod.3. So take my rookie advice with a grain of salt.

UPDATE
we found the little screw hiding in a pocket recess in the range bag
but the BEST NEWS is Viridian , called me first thing this morning and i explained i did find it, but he is mailing me a couple screws. Plus we had a very good 1/2 hr chat all things related. what fantastic customer relations
that really made my day.

UPDATE UPDATE
remember i talked to the guy at Viridian on Monday
he was going to mail me out a couple screws....
they arrived this afternoon in the mail.......
not 2.screws.....but 4 little baggies with 2 screws in each bag and some swag stickers

impressed am I ...
talk about a small gesture if good will that is freaking over the top EXCELLENT
i know where i look first now for optics.
I am blown away

In the future, if you know the specs of a fastener, try McMaster-Carr at www.mcmaster.com for anything that hardware store sources probably won't have. And you can buy in bulk for what a hardware store might charge for just one.
