That would be great. Looking forward to it.That would awesome! Going to Waco, have family there and family coming in from Dallas-Ft Worth and San Antonio Areas, big family X-Mas shindig. I'll definitely give you a shout on the forum though before we leave.
We have decent skiing here in Vegas, 30-45 minute drive up to Mt. Charleston @ Lee Canyon , 3 lifts , elevation around 8,600'. Of course we're not all the far from Brian Head, UT (3 hour drive), Flagstaff (4 hour drive) and Big Bear, CA (4 hour drive) as well.I am also a skier so i keep telling my wife, “wyoming”. She just looks at me like i’m a special kind of stupid. She doesn’t do well in the cold. Hahahaha.
i actually have a buddy that lives somewhere in/near Dayton..???2A Friendly, no state income tax, decent cost of living, good weather, beautiful scenery.

Rhode Island is bordered by Connecticut and Massachusetts so it’s no surprise they are following suit in this decision. New England was the birthplace of firearm design and manufacturing and is now becoming a place that is pushing gun manufacturers south.OK, I forgot about RI.
Folks need to realize that once the current crop of Dems get a super-majority in the state (legislature & governor) they go for it. Especially, when there's no 2A guaruntee language in the state Constitution.
I see NY is going for more restrictions also.
Dayton,NV is way up north near Reno (about 7-8 hour drive from Vegas )it’s completely different than Las Vegas with respect to climate and terrain. Up there it’s mountains, valleys, forests and farmland, cold winters and moderate humid summers. Down in Vegas it’s mountains and desert, moderate winters and hot, dry summers.i actually have a buddy that lives somewhere in/near Dayton..???
i had asked him many times how id NV to live in..
when i was a long haul trucker, i absolutely fell in love with the southwestern states....
this is what me and Mrs need, no taxes, warmer climate...not humid.....and cheaper way of living, if even that is still possible, and other things we need like doctors, specialists, etc.
Is that a good or bad thing?Good Luck !!
Illinois gun ban just got kicked up to the Illinois Supreme Court.
Good question, two are from the Chicago area and the last two that were elected were democrats bankrolled by pritzger. Is that a good or bad thing?
yes, my buddy sent me pics of his home, and he most certainly does have snow capped mountains in his backyard!!!!Dayton,NV is way up north near Reno (about 7-8 hour drive from Vegas )it’s completely different than Las Vegas with respect to climate and terrain. Very beautiful up there (kind of reminds me of Austria) much more rural than Las Vegas.
Democratic House Speaker Joseph Shekarchi and Senate President Dominick Ruggerio are open to considering a ban but want to hear what is said at the hearings that will be held, according to their offices. At past hearings on gun control bills, gun rights activists have packed the hearing rooms and hallways at the State House, chanting to show their opposition to the measures.
Yep Carson City is close and Lake Tahoe isn’t far. I would definitely recommend that area for a vacation get away, lots to do & see up there.yes, my buddy sent me pics of his home, and he most certainly does have snow capped mountains in his backyard!!!!
he mentioned he is not too far from Carson City as well, where he goes for various things, like doctors, etc.
Vermont is going down the slippery slope.Rhode Island is bordered by Connecticut and Massachusetts so it’s no surprise they are following suit in this decision. New England was the birthplace of firearm design and manufacturing and is now becoming a place that is pushing gun manufacturers south.
Only the northern states, Vermont, N.H. And Main are for the most part holding out.
That’s a shame.Vermont is going down the slippery slope.

Gun control bills are just in reach for Vermont Democrats, but a recent US Supreme Court ruling threatens their advance - VTDigger
“In legislating, there’s always an unknown in a certain sense,” a legislative lawyer told senators during a Friday hearing on proposed gun regulations. “But this is probably more unknown and more uncertain than it has been in a long time.”vtdigger.org

"
Watson was allegedly waiting inside with an AR-15 style rifle. Lapatin said police believe Jensen and her companions were also carrying weapons.
Watson said he fired in self-defense. He is now charged with possession of a firearm after being convicted of a crime of violence, two counts of possession of a large-capacity magazine, possession of a ghost gun, and possession of a barrel of less than 16 inches.
Police said the AR-15 style rifle is the only firearm found on scene. According to Lapatin, no one else was injured in the shooting and the two who accompanied Jensen fled the scene. Watson was the only person to fire a weapon."
