My congratulations to the young lady. This is my only daughter (senior) and her accomplishment after qualifying for state. Struggling with asthmatic symptoms she was worried that she wouldn't have enough air to play. Health prevailed and she placed 5th overall, but would've done better if she was more healthy. She was the only 1 from this town to qualify. We're trying to make the trip down to watch her perform with the symphony. Hopefully we ad a family can get there as we're limited by how many can attend due to regulations of where it's held.View attachment 73662

She works hard as band is her sport. There'll be colleges at their performance to offer scholarships to the top "x" amount of people. Hopefully there's colleges there that she wants to go to to offer her 1. Her and 1 of her best friends also plays the same instrument and both are neck and neck when they play in competitions/tryouts. She wants to stay in state for college, but so many choices on where to go.That is great great news you should be hella proud Tex
