Yeah, maybe a little. Vocally anyway. Deftones are probably another full step lower ( tuning) and a lot heavier usually.. I think it reminds me of Soundgarden mostly in the guitar work. It's a lot of full octave, alternate tuning heavy, sliding chords, ala Kim Thayill.
