Precision rifles

Belt Fed

First off i don't know why some of these pics are bigger than the others. Also shoulda waited another hour where the sun was up more. they kinda dark.

So this is what i spent a lot of money on last week, the cantilevers may not work. they sit kinda high. those are 50 mm scopes. may have to go with rings. gonna try them first.

First is the Ruger precision rifle, the bolt on this thing is really fast and smooth, a lot better than the Savage. it's in 308. it's well built and heavy. stock also folds. It will use both types of mags. All three have Hawke scopes on them.

Next is the Savage 110 Precision. nice gun, but not as well made as the Ruger.. bolt is kinda rough and harder to pull up. but it's not bad. it was also 300 bucks cheaper. it's in 308 too. only able to use AICS mags.

Next is the Christensen arms 22 mag, it's light as a feather. carbon barrel. the pics all show it with a 15 round mag but it came with a 9 round rotary mag. i have three 15 rounders on order. that 9 round is hard to reach up in there and get out. It uses the Ruger mags. The stock folds on it too. and wow the trigger is amazing on this thing.

Which one is more accurate? we will see.

i like the reference to the optics height
when i first got the 308 ar 10 it was a curve to get my eye sockets up correct to see the right way, compared the the savage bolt 308 which is very low over all

will be checking back to see what you found
than today
thanks and enjoy the range day
and those are some really good looking firearms

Them Muzzle brakes may have to go, haven't decided yet. but probably will put a device to use the Huxwrx
i had a hard hitting brake on the ar 10, finally put one on that made a huge difference in shoulder wear. the original one pushed hard back, but didnt create a dust storm prone.
the new one goes out to the side and back, plus a bit from up top to "help" the jump??

Never heard of Hawke optics in my life 🤷🤷
A semi-local club holds long range .22 matches and those guys love them. I bet at least a quarter to a third of their rifles have them. I don’t own any, but have looked through a couple and they seem very nice.

I know they are pretty popular with airgun people also.

Like many brands, they have several levels, so you should probably shop carefully.
