Do anybody knows if price of rifles are going to go back down?
i cannot speak of rifles. i do know that at my LGS, the prices of hand guns are selling below MSRP, and have been for quite some time.Do anybody knows if price of rifles are going to go back down?
I second that. I got my last couple below MSRP and they are rifles and a pistol I'd not seen on shelves for a while. Ammunition is getting better but it's still spotty. I had to look at several stores to find any decent .300 Win Mag ammunition before I found some, so I bought a 5 boxes. New rifle that will need to be sighted in and figured out, I'll want brass to reload, and I'll likely take it out west to hunt elk when I can pull a tag. I bet if I go back today it's all gone. Some supply is loosening up. For instance, I could find .45/70 and .30-06 now if I bought factory but I'd still have to pay a king's ransom for them. I saw a box of .357 magnum yesterday at $67 for 50, and it wasn't anything special. If you can find it for a good price, I'd say buy it. Don't hoard excessive amounts, as that's part of why we have the crunch now, but if you're going to go to the range and need two boxes but find four on the shelf, I'd get all four in case it's not there next time you want to go to the range.i cannot speak of rifles. i do know that at my LGS, the prices of hand guns are selling below MSRP, and have been for quite some time.
also, that very same LGS does have sales on many rifles, and shotguns, but i do not follow those.
ammo prices have dropped, at that same LGS as well.
i would venture to only guess, that you'd maybe not want to wait too long for any sustainable pricing drops, and get what you want now, if it's in stock.
yeah, that LGS i was talking about, only have .38 special in hollow points, and only 20 per box..I second that. I agree also. Especially AR types, but have seen sales/reductions across the board for rifles. Hand guns and ammo have also dropped with a better supply available.i cannot speak of rifles. i do know that at my LGS, the prices of hand guns are selling below MSRP, and have been for quite some time.

OPP is exactly correct. Nothing is being done to counter inflation. All of us should be buying I-bonds with our cash right now...Prices likely won’t come down until inflation goes down and supply issues get resolved. Inflation is likely to rise multiple times this year.
No. No they will not.Do anybody knows if price of rifles are going to go back down?
By me, gun prices still very high. Ammo prices coming down. All the LGS in my area have come down considerably in price on all firearms the past few months and I've also noticed the amount of inventory has been a lot more in-stock. Ammo prices have been steadily declining in my area though still much higher than pre-covid prices.
This is the LGS I visit and buy from the most out of the others in my area. These guys kept firearm and ammo prices way lower then anyone else during the entire 2020. How do their prices compare to stores in your area?By me, gun prices still very high. Ammo prices coming down.
I can't see any ammunition on the page. I do see a used VP9 for $250 more than I paid for one new in 2019. It really shows how prices have gone crazy. This is the LGS I visit and buy from the most out of the others in my area. Your guy is pretty good regarding pricing. I have 1 or 2 retailers in WI I frequent that are lower or equal to....most are higher in handgun pricing. NE Munitions does not have ammo pricing listed (probably wise)...$599 is the P365SAS price for your guy, around me I have 1 that is asking $560...others are $600-670. Interesting although not unexpected, the best firearm pricing near me is in, or closer to, questionable parts of town(s).This is the LGS I visit and buy from the most out of the others in my area. Most of their used stuff is actually consignment which customers set the price.I can't see any ammunition on the page. I do see a used VP9 for $250 more than I paid for one new in 2019. It really shows how prices have gone crazy.
They don't list ammo on the site as they try and keep it on hand for walk in customers.Your guy is pretty good regarding pricing. We only have one lgs in my immediate area (used to be a few more). They had a garrison a few weeks back for about $100 more than the one listed in your lgs. The glocks in my store are about $50-$100 more. I think they can be a bit more expensive because they are pretty much the only game in town. This is the LGS I visit and buy from the most out of the others in my area.
