More than likely something in the holster design, on your belt or in your pocket is contacting the mag release. Happens more than most people tend to think. Or perhaps the magazine is nor being seated well, sometimes occurs with new magazines spring tension.Has any had issues with the Prodigy dropping the magazine just during normal carry? Draw the gun at times and the mag falls out.

Ditto, but 2 17 and 3 20 rounders. Never had a problem.I have 3x 17-round and 3x 20-round mags and none pop-out. One in the chamber + 17 in the mag is a bit tight, so the mag needs to be forcibly secured in place with a firm slap, but that's it.
Nothing wrong with what you're doing, I just like to max it out because I canDitto, but 2 17 and 3 20 rounders. Never had a problem.
I never have stuffed that last round in, though. On any pistol I carry or use, I don’t chamber and top off.
I know…I know.. I hope I never need that last bullet.
My counterpoint is I hope I never need the first.
Nice! Do you mind posting a picture of how you fixed it? It's always good to have this kind of shared first-hand knowledge handy...I just needed to tighten a screw in the mag release mechanism and all is well. Thanks for the responses.
