The target model has the blacked out target sights which I really like and it also has the heavy bull barrel. When taking it apart you just need to remove the Allen screw under the barrel and the bolt slides out of the receiver for easy cleaning. I can shoot quarter sized groups at 30ft feet all day with this pistol that has almost no recoil because of the heavy barrel.

Ruger's customer service is probably one of the best in the industry if you ever have an issue.

About a year ago my buddy who has an old P89 .45 that he bought in the 90s had the mag release spring break and no replacement part could be found for it because the gun has been out of production since 2003 so he contacted Ruger who sent him a shipping label to return the gun to be fixed. Not only did Ruger fix the broken part they also rebuilt the gun to factory condition and returned it to him in about 2 weeks with 3 additional springs for no charge at all.

When they say lifetime warranty they mean it! 😁👍
