And maybe I missed it, but I didn't see where anyone mentioned the "TINGLER". But so many of these are just scary movies for 'freight night', not really halloween. And I agree with the question "how did we get away from the kids putting on their costumes for 'trick or treating'?
As for just plain scary, my siblings and I watched "Creature from the Black Lagoon" back in probably the med to late 50's. That night we all went to bed with our heads under the covers ................. LOL!
