Red dot optic or fixed sights for my Saint victor pistol? What's best?

Both are a good option depending on personal preference. I actually use a combination of flip sights with an RDS on my AR's so I can co-witness if the RDS goes down or I just want to use the flips. I vote for getting both!

😁👍
WOW lol thanks for the quick reply. I worry the optic might not stay on or work well when I really need it too fixed would not fail

Not staying on is easily fixed by getting a good mount. LocTite is another option...but not as good. Look at LaRue, Scalarworks, Badger...

Not working is corrected by getting a quality red dot designed for hard use, not a budget/bargain model (like the Sig).

Aimpoint, EoTech, Trijicon...all are good choices for a serious optic.

And learn to use the irons, as well.

I am not sure which one to buy for my Saint victor pistol. I have researched the romeo5 52101 but don't know if I am just better off with a good set of flip up sights. I bought the saint mostly for home protection.
I have the Saint Victor pistol in 300 Blackout. I installed the Romeo5 with Magpul flip up sights. It works for me, but as others have stated, there are many options out there for you to explore. Good luck on whichever way you proceed Newbie.

Use blue Loctite with any optic. I put a Romeo 5 on my KSG25 about a year ago. 1000 rounds or better later the red dot is still dead on and on its original battery. I have Magpul BUIS on it too which co-witness with the Romeo.

I put the same set up on my AR when I bought it a couple months ago except I didn’t use Magpul I used Feyachi BUIS.
