in an attempt to sight in new optic the reticle disapeared. i recieved an answer from killerford1977 but did not see it for a week. it is the cts 1500 site, do you know how to reset it?

Batteries can produce all kinds of problems from experience. Have seen where brand new batteries, fresh out of package, produced odd results. One time, using specified battery, fried the electronics in a cordless drill. The Dewalt was actually up in smoke. Yes, battery was inserted correctly, pretty much fool proof. Other times, tested new batteries before insertion, all fully charged, some worked while others didn't in and for same application. A good multi-meter or battery tester can help eliminate some concerns. They're generally inexpensive, almost virtually last forever and available at many places like hardware, auto and many big box stores.
