quite a few British actors/actresses have outdone themselves on the silver screen and tv in various drama mini-series, comedy, that sometimes goes unnoticed.

same can be said for film/tv stars from Australian, Japan, China, Germany, and other actors from around the globe that play huge roles in blockbuster movies...that we just don't always pay much attention to........think of all those old war movies, like Tora-Tora-Tora, or The Guns of Navarone, as only 2 examples of actors from other countries.

they will live on forever, thanks to cable movie channels
 
my particular favorite British actress of all time is, Judi Dench

when i saw her as a regular on a Brit tv show, that was it for me, that sealed her in my heart.
