Review: Smith Enterprise Custom Mk 14 EBR Mod 0 SEI

I wanted to send them my Loaded Standard in an EBR chassis to get the Crazy Horse treatment, but never got around to it.
Smith Enterprise does good work, and from handling the occasional rifle of theirs that pops up locally, the price is worth it.

Smith Enterprise built a MK14 Mod 0 type SEI for me way back in 2004.
I described that rifle this way: Sub MOA accuracy with AK47 reliability.

Mike, consider adding the EBR trigger shoe to your rifle, it makes the shooting experience much more enjoyable.

no pics of internal parts, I believe the gas system was M60 style, similar to what LaFrance has done with custom combo flash hide and muzzle brake. The receiver and bolt were made by Smith, new barrel, new national match sights, remainder were stock M14 parts. Here are a few pics of front end, sights and receiver. Don't have much.

I am happy to announce that production of the wildly popular USGI M14 EBR Trigger Shoe that has been available to the public since 2011 is moving, it's moving from Ohio to Georgia. Stay tuned for updates on any changes and on availability.

Gorgeous sweet shooting rifles, but it getting old and arthritis suck can shoot them but humping one would be huge different issue. These days M1 carbines, Marlin carbines and such are more my style, I still prefer the old wood and steel.
