when i ran the road, i'd tell my travel agent (dispatcher) not to send me into any snow country, or i'll drop the equipment, get on a plane, and not tell you where to find anything.

he must of heard and understood me......cuz i never went to snow country, at least, not in winter times.

i tried to stay the "southern route" like I-40 during those times.

Coming across that second, small rickety ass bridge over the Ohio with semis coming past you the opposite direction wasn't too cool.
