Ruger has some of the best priced and quality 22 pistol's on the market. Another very simular one is S & W Victory 22.

Ruger does make some really great guns at a reasonable price that's why I own quite a few different models from pistols to rifles!

I have the S&W victory also it's a great plinker.

I've never owned any of the Mark series of target pistols, but I picked up an SR-22 shortly after it was released to teach my kids how to shoot semi-autos. The SR-22 has chugged along through thousands of rounds of cheap bulk ammo, and I could count the number of hiccups on both hands (even those were probably ammo related). That gun is what made me a Ruger fan.

Good read for sure. They have been making those Mark series for some time. I didn’t realize it had been that long. Like 10mm said good guns at a good price.

I've owned several version of the Ruger Mk's (2, 3, 4)...

At the end of the day, I prefer the Buckmark. Never liked the strange “button switch” controls on the Mk series.

Although, the full-Volquartsen upgraded Mk2 .22-45 was a pretty sweet little piece. Just a major pain in the posterior to break down and clean.

Never was too thrilled with the Buckmark, my brother has several, I’m not to fond you really can’t disassemble it to clean it thoroughly, I mostly had S&W’s in .22, model 41, and 22s.
