SA35 Question

You can see the bright metal look in relation to the bluing on the hammer. Im not too worried about it, I do not think it will have anything to do with function, but they are very sharp! They will require a filing to keep from getting cut or scratched when coming into contact with them.
Could it be possible that pistol kept the hammer back and was dropped twice (at different times) ❓

I seriously doubt it. It would have to have been dropped from the exact height (or whatever) to create the same depth gouge on each side of the hammer in the exact same location. It must be a tooling mark or something like that.

I will say this. SA has one of the highest regarded Customer Service departments in the business. If it were me, considering you just dropped a not insignificant amount of money on this gun, I might call them up and send the gun back to them for repair. You won't have to pay for shipping and their turn around time is pretty fast.

1. The burrs are SHARP. They will cut skin. If this is in a holster, it will cut the elbow area.
2. This is a NEW gun, it should not have this issue.
3. Because.
well call SA Monday morning, explain it and offer to send in your pics via email to the person you speak with, rather than the company email.

i had a 35 myself, and i did not have those marks, and i couldn't imagine right now, how they came to be.
