Hogs have exploded in population across the south, especially Texas.
Sow Hogs can have litters as toung as 6 months old. Give litters every 7 months and avg 4-7 a litter. If you have 10 sows, do the math on the yearly compound of babies
They are destroying billions of $$ in crops

2 Hogs on the run towards me. 1 small and 1 large.
Ran the Saint dry of 10 rd mag .308 on a large group.
Had to transition to .45 1911 on a oh moment as they passed by.
Hunting buddy got it on thermal.

I was told by my bud who runs the guide service where I assist that they broke thru the 6000 mark for hogs down since 2021 guiding on 230000+ acres.



And they barely put a dent …

Didnt get hogs last night, but daughter captured a great photo with the setting sun scanning for hogs with the Saint .308
