Saint AR-15 hand guard question

Hey everybody, so I have the SAINT 5.56 M-LOK B5 rifle. I have been looking online, and cannot find any solid information on what I am looking for. When I purchased the rifle it came with the B5 Systems mid-length M-LOK handguard. I am not really liking it. What would be a good option for a drop in hand guard as I do not want to lose my front sight?

Magpul makes some nice ones. I’m assuming by your description you have the Saint with the classic A frame front sight?

You will keep your A2 sight with this handguard and this is a solid one as well. https://centurionarms.com/c4-m-lok-rail-carbine-cut/

check thru this thread. I asked a similar question for the same gun lol. There r some vids posted etc

My bad, I thought that was a carbine length rail on that rifle. Here is the same rail in mid length. https://centurionarms.com/c4-rail-mid-length-cutout/

I did not know your link went to a carbine length one, just wanted to you to know I did not mean to seemlike I was calling you out.

On the original Saints that was a “bonus” feature that the mid length gas system was more reliable and does not beat the gun up as much as the carbine length gas system.

Oh no I didn’t take it that way at all. I thought it was a carbine length rail, I wasn’t aware that it was mid length. I was just suggesting a good handguard for not having to remove the A2 sight like he was wanting. I much prefer the mid length gas system over carbine as well. Your good.

Same problem here, burned my self on gass tube after one mag, the guard is too thin. Is there advantage to having the A2? "Some Guy" was saying you could cut off the A2/modify. I see some guys swear by it... Thoughts for a newbie here are appreciated.
