SAINT Victor 9mm Carbine "Low Capacity" Model Question

Hello, I have a question regarding SAINT Victor 9mm Carbine Low Capacity rifle "STV91609BLC" (UPC: 706397959562). I see that it comes standard with the 10 round magazine. Can that rifle also take the higher capacity 32 round magazines? I live in Texas and we don't have a magazine capacity limits and found this rifle for sale online for almost $200 less than what the 32rd version is selling for locally.

In addition is the only difference between the low capacity saint and the regular SAINT® Victor 9mm Carbine just the magazine that is included with the rifle (10rd vs 32rd?)? Are they the exact same otherwise? Thank you for your time.

Regards, Joe

I have a Saint Victor in 5.56/223 and really love it. I was considering the 9mm version as a cheaper platform for training and plinking.

Sure, just stick the larger magazines in it and go shoot. Although, I'll never understand why SA didn't use XD mags for their rifle. I've got boatload of those. ;)

You can find the 9mm 32 round Colt pattern magazines for around $30 or less.

Feel free to post up a range report once you start working out with it. Cool.

Was this an online buy or in person. For online buy you should've been able to choose mag capacity for either state restricted or non.
I haven't bought it yet. The reason for my question is on Gunbroker the 10 round version is selling for ~$150 less than the 32 round version, depending on where you look. I just wanted to be sure they were the same base rifle and the 10 round wasn't some sort of CA compliant model. Earlier this afternoon I called Springfield and they also confirmed that they are the same rifle and only the mag it is packaged with is different. I will be buying it shortly. Thank you for all of the info. I really appreciate the help and look forward to shooting it in a match!

a ca compliant would have a "fin" grip including a fixed mag possibly due to it being an "ar" style rifle. not sure about the pcc firearms though? mags being somewhat low cost you could easily make up the 150 in mags on what you saved.

Unfortunately the CA compliant model includes the grip fin and a non-adjustable stock. That way it's not so scary. ;)

Since you're in TX, feel free to modify as necessary.

But the model the OP asked about is not the California compliant model "STV91609BCA".

"Hello, I have a question regarding SAINT Victor 9mm Carbine Low Capacity rifle "STV91609BLC" "

That model does not have the finned grip and does have the adjustable stock.

Good eye. ;)

Being a CA escapee, I tend to harken back to those dark days.
