Saint Victor 9mm

I ran a few mags through my Saint 9mm today and several times when the action stayed open as if all ammo had been shot there would still be one round left in the mag. Anyone else have this happen. Anything I can do to prevent this from happening again?
Thanks in advance,
DR

What type of ammo?

My Agency used Colt SMG’s and sometimes that would happen. We had a lot of issues with the Colt 32 round magazines. We also had issues with Federal 9BP naming with the bullet getting pushed into the case. The Winchester Ranger and Silvertip JHP (yeah I’m that bold) and obviously Ball ran fine

Also side note we only loaded 39 rounds because they were hard to seat bolt forward with 32 rounds and we always turned it sideways magwell to support side when reloading. Because if you drop a loaded mag half the rounds came out like a PEZ candy dispenser!

Was the bolt being stopped by the bolt catch or this last round or magazine?

And no, this hasn't occurred with mine.

You loaded 39rds in a 32rd mag?

Impressive!
