having trouble finding ammo that my AR 10 likes anyone got suggestions

Have tried 143 gr Hornady ELDX
150 gr hornady superformance
150 gr Winchester whitetail
130 gr Barnes these have shot the best
But I cannot get a consistent group from any of them at 100yds

Mine loves this. You want tighter more consistent groups go with heavier grain.

Hornady doesn't make 143edlx in 30cal, only 26cal. 178 is the lightest in that caliber (30cal). How many rounds have been thru the barrel as it might take 100 or so to have a better understanding of what/which ammo it likes? Put 100 rounds of m80 ammo and then go from there.

I’ve shot 2 boxes of those 178 eldx and could not get the groups anywhere near the Federal Sierra 175 Match king. I have not tried the 168 grain.
Some folks rifles like certain ammo. Just have to try a few different combos.

I hunt with the 165 grain Hornady Inerlock American Whitetail series which has given me good results.

I run PMC Bronze 147 gr and Win or Federal 149 gr for all my target rounds.
No issues prob near 1000+ target rounds..
Hunting I use Federal or Hornady

Mine eats 147 federal/Winchester white box like it's candy
