Saint Victor Carbine Feeding question..

What would "tender loving care" for the springs entail?

I attached pics of the two mags it came with. Also, I don't want to have to try different ammo. I'm relatively new to shooting, but CCI blazer brass should work in almost anything right? Plus it's readily available all the time 3 miles from my front door for 12 to 13 dollars a box. I'm going to two ranges this week and also plan on trying Sig hollow points as well. I purchased this gun while looking for a 9mm carbine because I felt Springfield was a solid company and I liked the colt style mags instead of Glock mags. I feel confident that Springfield will stand by the gun if I continue to have problems. The gun was on sale, came with an extra mag, red dot sight, cheap sling, and clothing voucher at my local store. That coupled with my perceived great build quality led me to the gun.

Well that settles that, those should be good to good. Both mags giving you probs? Any manufacturer can a fck-up but Metalform are usually built right. Hope you can get this figured out. It is a solid built PCC.

Haven't had a FTF in the last 395 rounds, this included Blazer Brass and Federal, and Sig Sauer and Hornady American Gunner hollow points.

Next issue, I'm a lefty and I'm getting hit in the face and glasses with casings often. I bought this but haven't had an opportunity to try it out yet.

Brake Deflector

Any other options?

Glad to hear. Sounds like it was what most were suspecting, just break-in type of stuff.

Not sure on the gas issue, can try a gas defeating charging handle but direct blowback is gonna be gassy no matter what.

Will these guns run +p ammunition? One thing I'm not impressed with is the broadness of the manual. It seems like is written for the ar15 models and nothing really specific to the 9mm version.
