I was thinking about a new gun but why would I want a 10mm? Is there a good enough reason to have one or is it just a new caliber thing.
New caliber for you or do you mean new production caliber?
10mm has been around since 1983.
If you mean a new caliber in your rotation you can't go wrong this very versatile round that gives probably the best power to capacity ratio currently on the market for a pistol caliber.

If you're in the market for a new caliber I'd recommend it. 10mm is roughly the same cost per round as .45acp.

Looking at Springfield 10mm's. It will have to be an online purchase as LGS is way too expensive here.

I walk the Florida wetlands for photography. Gator attacks aren’t “common” but they do happen and it’s nesting season. They’re notoriously difficult to kill so having a high power higher caliber pistol helps. Same for those in bear country.
Just new to me. And an excuse to get another gun
I got the elite with the installed Hex Dragonfly. First impressions are good. It’s got a bit larger astigmatism starburst but the center dot is still there so it’s usable like the other RDS’ I have. The window is also bigger than my micro RDS’ so that may explain it.
