I'd have the strike fire for magnification and leave my venom as 45 for close

I've used 3.5x ACOGs in close shooting drills/class; the horseshoe reticle models work quite well (better than the “wedge” reticle). You may be surprised at how well you can do with that Spitfire.

The Strike Eagle has a similar reticle, as does the Primary Arms ACSS LVPO’s.

I own a Strike Eagle, but if I had to do it again, I’d probably go Primary.
