Show off your 1911

Hi everyone, new here and I’d love to show my TRP Operator I ordered back in May but I’m yet to receive it. The dealer I bought it from keeps telling me Springfield Is not back into production yet. Anyone know if this has any truth behind it?

have you emailed the company themselves to ask if they are or not ?or called them ?

did you buy it new or used ? if used i wonder if maybe prior owner changed something.my wife had an issue with her .45 compact doing something similar,i tried and it ran fine,we figured out she wasnt holding her wrist firm enough so gun would rock to much causing it not to load the next bullet correctly, got her a V-10 ported and she stopped having issues cause of less recoil.

I bought this pistol new a few months ago. I really doubt it's a limp-wrist issue though. I'm used to a much snappier firearm, and it happens when other people fire it as well.

Bought this beauty locally back in March. I've since picked up a couple of mags from wilson combat that suit it very well. Love my Springfield!

I'm not sure if this one counts, but it identifies as a 1911. It could just as easily be classified as a Beretta 92 inspired 22 Mag with a 1911 frame. Either way, this is the 1911 (or 1911 Inspired Firearm) that I have been taking to the range recently. I can currently fill the 14-round magazine with 22 Mag. for less than half of the price to shoot 9 mm or 45 acp. The XT22M throws a massive fireball from the barrel with almost no felt recoil and is just incredibly fun to shoot.

Mixture of both .45 & 10mm. Top row all Springfield Armory, 2nd row all Colt and bottom row Kimber & Ruger. Last column of each row are the 10mm, the Colt in 1st column is a 1918 "Black Army" (goes nice with the 1942 P08 Mauser "Black Widow" Luger (not shown), that I own.

That is a very nice collection! Very impressive.
