This is simply perhaps one mans reaction to growing older and staring mortality in the eyes. In the past 10 years I have sold off or given away all watches, knives, guns, tools, miscellaneous items and antiques that I do not either love, or use on a regular basis. My collecting days are long past. I find that owning such items that I grow no relationship with brings me no more joy than not owning them. With the exception of my car, loved that but a promise is a promise.
Today, I cannot conceive of owning a firearm I do not shoot.
The p226 is a fine pistol and I would shoot the hell out of it like it was intended.
This summers project along with new wooden floors is to go thru and get rid of all holiday decorations, since myvwife has gotten worse we no longer decorate.
