I had to look it up too. It’s the Latest diet fad drug. The Lady behind counter at local USPS dropped 30 lbs in 3 months. Now I have more stamps than I’ll ever use.

No it's the short grip.
I'm not really a fan of compact handguns to begin with though. If my Shields didn't have extended mags and bases I wouldn't have them. If the bases didn't look like they were part of the grip and instead looked like a grip extension I wouldn't have them. Or if they had that little pinkly flare thing on the mag base.
That said, I'm sure it's a fantastic gun from an operational standpoint. It's an HK.

I know what you mean about compacts. The SK doesn’t feel like a compact even though it’s nearly identical in size to my Franken365. It’s a great shooter - pretty much identical to the VP9. I actually love the pinky extension. I think it gives it a chunky Blade Runner-ish look.
