Sight Picture Practicality

In competition or self-defense, you need to deliver effective—not perfect—accuracy at a high rate of speed. That means you only want to aim to the degree of difficulty your target presents.

This drill may help you visualize the limits of an effective sight picture in order to ratchet up your speed at any distance.

Good article. Thanks, Talyn.

Hi,

Yes, quick and to the point video. It's good to know that in close quarters you don't need pinpoint accuracy.

Seems Ms. Dunn is using a 5" barrel. I wonder how much the shorter barrels on smaller guns will affect the "good enough" accuracy. It would behoove you to take your 2.75" barrel out to the range and test it. ;)

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff
