Sig Sauer Hits Back At Claims Of P320 Issues
Sig Sauer released a strong statement today disputing the current narrative around the P320 pistol. The Statement, entitled ‘The Truth About the P320’, puts the bottom line up front: “The P320 CANNOT, under any circumstances, discharge without a trigger pull – that is a fact.” Let’s take a look...www.thefirearmblog.com

IIRC, even James Reeves mentioned in a video that as long as certain critical parts aren't MIM'ed, the practice isn't bad. He's done so much content, though, it would take me a year to find the darn video....When I got my Sig 1911, it was the last year Sig used tool steel for the internals, no MIM, but now there all like most manufactures, they now use MIM, if MIM is done right, there’s no issue, but if not, there soft, MIM can only be surfaced hardened.
I'm sure this case is exactly what Sig was referring to as 'baseless' or 'looking for a payout'. This is the ugly side of lawsuits ... people see smoke, so they try to get in on the fire when they really weren't harmed.
Puerto Rico Lawsuit Against SIG Dismissed
United States District Court for Puerto Rico has dismissed Berrios v. Sig Sauer. Police officer Elvis Ramon Green Berrios claimed his P320 service weapon discharged without the trigger being pulled. Mr. Berrios voluntarily withdrew his suit after “admitting in court that his P320 pistol has no defects and does not discharge without a trigger pull.” For three years, SIG says it "has vigorously defended the safety, quality and dependability of their P320 pistol” continuing that Berrios’ admission came after “scientific evidence showing that the P320 cannot fire without a trigger pull and contains no manufacturing defects.” This suit is the eighteenth time SIG has successfully defended the P320 in court.
1000% AGREEI have no dog in the P320 hunt/controversy since I don;t have or will have one because I have my preferred handguns.
But what I do know is that unless these YouTube knuckleheads, who make vids for click bait, testify in court that the pistol is defective then it's all "green house cases" out the exit-end of the human body.
And humans like to pile on to something when they see the opportunity.
So, the cover pics in those two You Tube links tell the whole story for me.

“…the Sig Sauer P320 can fire without anyone pulling the trigger.”
Ghost Gun
I like Taofledermaus. And OG’s Danger Show. The only gun-related stuff I watch on YouTube is MAC, BHSS and Garandthumb. Uses to watch Hickcock but he got too boring. The rest of the gun-related YouTubers are click bait as far as I care.
Besides that stuff the only stuff on YouTube worth watching are car races, a couple old movies & music vids.

We sure do !!!There is only one handgun that is truly safe and we all know which brand it is.![]()

Yes, also hate to say this but it’s mostly law enforcement personnel……training….period….Is there an instance where the P320 went off by itself when:
- it was not in a holster?
- it was not in another carrying object such as a bag or other?
I dont know the answer, but if memory serves correct, every instance has involved when it was in a holster or bag
Furthermore, it’s primarily female law enforcement.Yes, also hate to say this but it’s mostly law enforcement personnel……training….period….
