SigP320 Safety Problems Continue – Resulting In Bans from Police Training Ranges!

it wasn't a WA State Democrat politician that banned it, it was the head of the state law enforcement training commission, an actual cop
Actual cop? From my limited experience, most people that attain these positions are NOT actual cops. They may have spent some time "in the trenches" or wore the uniform for years, but being more concerned to get ahead as a "yes man" than doing the actual job.
"citing evidence that the Sig Sauer P320 can fire without anyone pulling the trigger."
COWPIES

FWIW, I went to Sig website. You can purchase a modified or upgraded P320 FCU. I was going to upgrade my P320 XTen Comp using an aftermarket company’s FCU until I saw Sig makes a drop in. Don’t know if it fits my shorter P320. Reviews seemed positive for trigger which is already good as stock. I always upgrade my guns. If there is a problem with current or older P320’s, they should make it right like they did with my MCX. I’m sending my pistol to my armorer to see if Sig made changes and to ensure it’s safe.

The FCu in my new sig looks pretty heavy duty

Every Time the P320/M17 Discharged On Our Military (cc: DOGE)
Now this one I won’t believe, the M17 & M18 both have manual safety like on a 1911…..no way does the trigger move when it’s on, most recruits have never even touched a firearm, so to me comes back down to training period, my M17 still hasn’t went off, round in chamber, loaded mag and safety on……been sitting that way for a very long time….

I've had six P320 pistols in compact and subcompact, carried iwb and owb. I carried in good quality leather or kydex holsters. I never played show-n-tell with them. None of them discharged by themselves. A fully loaded P320 (or any firearm) will not discharge by itself unless mishandled by a human.

IMHO, this phenomena is due to unsafe handling and/or holsters designs. Throw in the fact that many people being hired for LE are not firearms enthusiasts nor have had firearms safety drilled into them. Typical liberal tactics for gun control, blame the tool instead of the human.

It's not about the trigger, it's about the sear. Those parts are not just MIM'ed, they're crappy MIMs.

Since so many of y'all are defending Sig's indefensibles, I challenge you to watch THIS all the way through. It's a newer video that addresses the truth from A to Z. The guy is a Sig owner, and doesn't do Glock, so there's no fanboy bias with him. He's as unbiased in his reviews as I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot. I'll just leave this here.

Here's Proof the P320 is Defective. Sig Sauer Lies Exposed
This is not a hater video. Receipts are given.

Still, with the safety, not going to believe it, I don’t believe any of the YouTube stuff that’s out there, there just there for likes and to stir the pot like the recent video you just posted…..
