Smith M&P 2.0 9mm Full Size

I only have one left, Ported Barrel full size, it's a really good pistol with and without RDS. One thing I am not a big fan of is the mags, they feel cheap and the only 3rd party mags I tried are Pro Mag, which are even worse. I'm comparing to Mec-Gar mags for P226 or even Springfield Prodigy mags, or even P320 mags...

Any of you guys tried anything else? ETS?

I have the 1.0 ported 4.25" and a 5" ported upper in 9mil. I have 0 issues with the mags! I do however have some promag 32 rounders that work fine (I usually can't state that about promags). Factory 17 rounders haven't failed me.

Holly crap 32-round 😁 The OEM mags don't fail (the Promag do, and pretty badly!) they just feel like an afterthought compared to the rest of the pistol quality-wise. The ETS I was looking at seem to sell for $13 which is concerning and probably calls for the usual "you've got what you've paid for". I might try one just for shizzles & giggles...

I have yet to try ETS mags, but I do like the clear option. Promax in 50ae is horrible, but the 44mag mags for DE work fine. Kinda hit and miss. Got the 32 rounders for fun on Gansta style shooting days 🤣 . I've heard Mec-Gar makes oem mags for other manufacturers? I do have some for the P226 357sig that works great.

I DON'T like Glock mags.....well how they don't drop as free as ss mags or even blued. Wish there were ss mags for it!

Gotcha! For $15 or less, worst than can happen is it breaks, so I'll give it a shot. Mec-Gar makes 18-round P226 mags that are far better than Sig's and not much more expensive actually. They do make mags for S&W but apparently not for M&P
 
Well, after 7 days and no contact with seller, actually order is the same as the day I ordered, I cancelled it. They say credit card will be credited in 5 days---we'll see. VP9 got delivered to FFL, his wife signed for it and he will be back from hunting 15 Nov. One out of the 2 isn't bad.
