I have two of them, both bought several years ago when I was still trying to find the 'RIGHT' concealed carry holster for me. One is very a plain, brown, the other an ivory color. I haven't used either of them in years. Not because of a lack of quality, both were very well made and worked exactly as advertised.
While it's true they are bigger than most phone holsters, not many people would ever suspect they were gun holsters. Fact is most people would simply think you were carrying some new style combo holster for phone and ????.
They are very easy for some with special needs or conditions to use and to access the firearm if/when ever needed. The only concern I ever had when I did give them an honest try was that it would have been relatively easy for some bad guy to try to take them off your belt, but a lot easier said than done. I did try it more than once with asking friends to try to take it off my belt ... none ever did, but it would be determined by how hard one was willing to fight. And in one or two experiments they were accidentally opened to expose the fact they were in fact hiding a firearm. Obviously at that point the fight takes on a whole different turn. They did have a simple metal belt clip, but also an optional sewn on two parallel leather strip belt loops. It would not be easy at all for anyone to actually pull one off your belt in any event, but pretty much impossible if the user is using the two parallel sewn on belt loops.
So in the end, I did give them an honest try in the very beginning of my CCW life. They are really effective at their intended purpose, hiding the fact you were carrying a firearm. But in the end they were just too large for me to enjoy using them in most cases. I since have tried many other types and styles of CCW holsters and have settled on the two or three, depending on my dress and anticipated activity for the day, that will best serve the need for that day.
