Sort or sell?

Belt Fed

I don't reload so probably be better to sell for scrap. 7 gallon bucket and weighs about 70 pounds i would guess. most of it is pistol brass. top layer is rifle. several different calibers in there.

if it is not in your way, keep piling it up, in another bucket.

you can check with salvage yards for "gun brass" as i was told at my salvage yard the price will be much lower than "plumbing brass"

try to google brass prices in your area often, then go when it is high....(the price will fluctuate weekly)

either way, its still "free money"

i generally keep my unwanted brass till it reaches just under the rim of the bucket...

and i been keeping primers in a smaller 2 pound coffee can.

Maybe a third option? Buy a cheap classic lee loader and try giving reloading a try. They are super compact, light, and actually kinda relaxing. You won't fill all your shooting needs with one but it's a nice relaxing lil hobby. Nice for getting your head off the worries of ones world.

This-and you can make some decent (match grade) ammo if you wish and take your time. I loaded a bunch of .222 and .220 Swift with a classic Lee and a quality powder scale. And weighed each charge and sorted bullets to insure exact same weight. I was hunting ground hogs hard so I wasn’t burning tons of ammo, but for low volume👍

Some calibers brass is difficult to find. If it were me, I would separate and clean, then go on GunBroker and try and sell it. Not out much if it does not sell, there is always the recycler.
