I found one of the Springfield XDM Elite 3.8 inch 9mm yesterday at a local gun shop, 20+1 round mag.....$659.00!!!! I think that's a just a little steep for my wallet even though it's one of the nicest handguns I've ever held. I was very impressed with it. I think you could still carry it concealed with the right holster and it wasn't nearly as heavy as I thought it would be. Hoping to maybe catch a sale on down the line on that mode. Also hoping maybe eventually they might put out an FDE version.

They have to be price gouging a little there. My local dealer had the optics ready elite with the threaded barrel for that price. When I asked about the normal elite, they said when they get them they retail for about$489.

That's about what I've been seeing them for. That particular gun shop always has a nice selection but they're consistently the highest priced shop around. I do more browsing there than buying for sure.....
