You will love that Ronin. Mine is my favorite !Picked up my Ronin this morning -- 1911 in .45 and spent till early afternoon cleaning, inspecting, oiling and drooling.
I wish it had a plain u-notch ledge rear sight, with a gold or brass bead front…I wish the Garrison had the same FO front and adjustable rear sights as the Ronin. Actually prefer the Garrison, other than that.
Put 50 rounds through my new #1 pistol -- what a machine. Tight, smooth, and accurate. First one that I don't have to tweak the sights -- now I need a ragPicked up my Ronin this morning -- 1911 in .45 and spent till early afternoon cleaning, inspecting, oiling and drooling.

What a beautiful gun! I’ll be shooting it this week for sure ...
I believe I'll leave the Novak rear sight on mine and try to avoid combat.Looks like a nice 1911. I am particularly thankful for the absence of the forward cocking serrations.
However that useless Novak rear sight will be replaced as soon as I get one of these. Novak sights simply do not belong on combat handguns. I wish they would use the same rear sight they use on the Ronin for all of their combat pistols. Or at least offer a choice.
I'd certainly like to avoid combat as well, but on rare occasion combat finds you.I believe I'll leave the Novak rear sight on mine and try to avoid combat.
