Re the 1911 pistol and ammunition capacity, correct me if I’m in error, the originals were 7 round magazines, 8 round magazines came later, and I have a few single stack 10 round magazines. They protrude out the bottom end of course. Should those be insufficient, double stack models are available, 13 or 14 shot magazines. Obviously wider grips, but there is a price for everything.
