I can’t understand why they (any company) are quick to release Apps and then neglect to keep track or monitor if there are any bugs or improvements that need to be tweaked, then slow to add the updated version only to complicate the entire App.
Having an older iOS, many Apps just don’t work or load slowly and crash, even going so far to add useless features that exasperates the problem with unnecessary rerouting, redirects and pop ups.
Then there’s the time you‘ll need that manual for a quick reference the power, the wifi or battery goes out. My power company has an App to report and track outages worked fine for years, until my old cellphone iOS no longer supported the latest version and I complained hoping they would revert to a simpler version or buy me a new cellphone - but they didn’t respond. Too busy settling and responding to corruption allegations with our elected officials i guess.
Saving a bookmark helps tremendously so long as the device is set to read the file and there’s enough GB room.
Paper manual or a copy thereof in a manila paper folder in a steel file cabinet is the only way to go, even if you can’t keep the silverfish at bay in a darn, poorly ventilated English basement.
