Nice review . I wanted to get a AR and read a lot of reviews and they said that for the money you can beat them. I bought a Saint Victor right before Christmas. Put a scope and light and laser combo on it. Haven't shot it yet. Soon I hope.

The Saint is outstanding.
I own a Victor 5.56 & .308 .

I have 7 other AR’s and the Saint Victors are by far the best in my arsenal and compare to some of mine that are double the Saint price.

I currently own a Saint pistol and a Saint Victor both in 5.56/.223 and shooting them is about as much fun as you can have with your clothes on. By mid-year I plan to purchase a Saint Victor in .308.

If PA would make them legal to hunt deer with I would buy one in 308.

There's also the option to get a .300BLK for hunting & buy a separate 5.56 upper for cheaper plinking, varmiting and defense needs. You can get more versatility out of an AR15 vs AR10. Both the .300blk & 5.56/.223 use the same mags.

Great article.
My 1st AR15 was the second version of the Saint offered by Springfield with the floating hand-guard in 5.56/223.
It was perfect out of the box and has shot perfect from the start.
I do wish However that I had waited on getting my Savage AR10 in 308 for the 308 version of the Saint but I still enjoy shooting all my AR platforms.

I have the Saint AR Pistol and it is a great gun to shoot. It has been accurate and fun. Easy recoil and so far OK with various ammo.

I don't own an AR, but if I wanted to, this would be my choice.

However, I did fire one over the weekend. I haven't fired one since 1998, and it brought back memories of my M16A2.

If I was to trade anything it would be my Savage AR10 6.5 Creedmoor for maybe the Saint PDW 5.56 but I would lose to much money.

I know it's been proposed and under serious consideration Adam. I'm not a hunter but Pa. just added the 3 "hunting on Sunday" days, so there's hope hunting with the AR platform will someday become a reality in this state

We can hunt varmint with semi however we are not allowed to hunt big game with a semi.

The only better deal I’ve stumbled on was a half-price FN for $900.

My Saint Edge 5.56 and Victor .308 are awesome guns. They just feel great. My old Bushmaster is a great gun, but the Saints blow it away.

Wow. I have 1x6 and 1x8 on my ARs. I will try a longer range this summer.
