Suppressor on S. Victor .308 pistol and/or S. Edge PDW...?

Topic...

Greetings to all, first time poster here (thanks for having me). Got a couple of quick questions to ask in regards to the Saint Victor .308 Pistol and a Saint Edge PDW.

1) Has there been any progress or success mounting any suppressors on these two (loud) truck gun "pistols"?

2) If so, what mods were necessary (IE handguard swaps, trims, removals, etc.), and what particular cans were used?

Primary use will be for CQC/CQB, armed escort, and even HD.

MNY THX in advance!

Not a pistol, but I have seen various users of the .308 Victor rifle have to adjust the gas block to cycle properly. Follow the instructions in the manual on adjusting the gas block for needed pressure. There is a dedicated page on how to do it

It depends on what model SAINT. If you get one of the tiny SAINTS like the PDW the back end of the muzzle break is buried inside the thin profile handguard. But others like the SAINT edge and 308 pistol have the barrel that sticks out of the front of the handguard easily giving you room to mount a suppressor.

Here is an example of three different SAINTS two would require a different handguard to run a suppressor.

This is one of my SAINTS that is set up, for a Surefire can.

I recently purchased a 308 saint pistol. Put a YHM Resonator 2 suppressor on it with no problem. Changed nothing. But having some malfunctions. Did you get a suppressor mounted yet and any problems?
Thanks

Nothing added to the barrel yet, as I still haven't had the chance to shoot either the 308 Victor "pistol" or my Edge PDW (slow surgery recovery...).

I do have them set up pretty good with some basic stuff, but nothing elaborate yet. Updated pics later today.

Not sure if your problems are from the suppressor or not...

Where do you get those Empty Chamber flags and stops at?
I believe our unit armorer gets them from either Amazon (or somewhere similar) and puts them together to make a two-piece chamber flag. Much better than the sorry gizmos we're provided, and "BobM" may have a good link. We have them for our rifles and pistols on base, and I have "re-purposed" a few of them for home weapons' op-checks...

I was under the impression that the Saint Edge PDW with it's unique muzzle brake was not capable of taking a suppressor. Is there some alteration that would allow for that possibility?

Generally, chances are pretty good anything with a muzzle brake or any other muzzle device if already equipped. - If something screws in it also unscrews out and something else can also take it's place like with another muzzle device as in a suppressor? Knowing original thread type on firearm is good 1st step and size thread and type is important. Are usually adapters for most muzzle devices from one size to another too. Adapters or other modifications like changing out or shortening barrel guards may be required though as some muzzle devices are recessed or flush fit. Direct fit w/o modification to rest of firearm with muzzle devices is usually considered best. There are also "slip fit" muzzle devices available for different firearms. Some muzzle devices can also be permanently attached by welding in place. Where there's a need, there's a way? ....and likely an adapter for it? :)
