Surefire 123A Rechargeable Batteries

I found the 123a rechargable batteries get the lights outer metal casing Super, super hot right before the charge dies. Like a last minute supernova exploding. Almost to hot to touch. Happened on several lights I have. Least I know when its about to die

I've gone to rechargeables AA's for 90% of my battery use. I still have a stash of Alkalines but for emergencies.
I can charge my rechargeables with both plug in chargers and solar chargers.
This will allow me to move to rechargeable 123's for several weapon lights. I knew they existed but Surefire is pretty mainstream so I have more confidence in them jumping in on these.

Surefire would be one of the only ones I trust with rechargeable cr123 batteries. If you get about a dozen recharges you are saving money. Being rechargeable means I would use the flash light even more.
AA’s Enlope‘s and Amazon basics brands are fantastic. I use them in camera flashes and I can’t even remember how many times I have recharged them.
