Benelli introduces A.I Drone guardian last born of iconic M4 family as solution against UAV during battle.​

Modern warfare scenarios show the massive use of small FPV (First Person View) drones, piloted by quadcopters with individual visors and remote controls, attacking enemy troops on the ground, either directly or by firing anti-personnel grenades from above at squads of soldiers below, causing many casualties.

The Italian shotgun specialist Benelli has developed a long-range weapon for short-range drone defense based on its proven M4 platform. The company announced this in a statement on August 12. The semi-automatic shotgun, called the M4 Advanced Impact (AI) Drone Guardian, is designed to be used with 6.1 mm buckshot (No. 4 buckshot).

Shotgun taking out the rotor blades and down goes the drone.

Better work on high speed leading of the target. Drones haul Donkey. Avg GI Joe wont hit one without specialized training on fast movement and distance leading of a target. No how, no way

Oddly, was just watching Zombie something last night... folks lived in a Ranger station on an island. The problem was, Zombies don't seem to be able to drown, thus lots of them came washing up on shore from a boat crash.
 
looks nice indeed. However nothing my Mossberg can't do. For 50 yds I would recommend buffered shot, and except for the tiniest drones, if you are going to use # 4, then use #4 buckshot and not the other # 4. 00 and 000 buckshot would be preferable, with the right choke, for the larger drones and don't use low recoil stuff. I use exclusively what can be considered magnum loads in 12 gauge, 2 3/4 or 3". as an aside I've include this not related but interesting link https://blog.cheaperthandirt.com/buckshot-lethal-50-yards/
