This was the first "Slant" I bought. About 6 or 7 years ago. I have since gotten an Above The Tie slant and a Timeless. The Wunderbar is a very aggressive razor and when paired with a Feather Hi- Stainless blade it will easily mow down a week's growth in one pass.

Usually with a shotgun under it.

My wife carries the LCR only; I carry mine occasionally, most often in an ankle rig. A few years back I changed the grip on both to Hogue extended grip. As one would expect, the increase in control and handling is remarkable. On the subject of semiautomatic, the "American" is the only pistol that interested me.

Why title the article "the Best Ruger" when the content is gonna be a list of product instead of honoring your title?

I like the LCP II, but sold it to a friend in need. I assume the LCP Max would be just as good, but the Max 9 beat it in cost, no. of mags, caliber and features.
I haven't shot it, but the SP101 is one I would like.
I have the original SR1911, it's a keeper but not for my EDC.

For my pick, I prefer the Max 9. It is similar in dimensions to a handful of others, but it beat out the competition with features and how easy it was to shoot well. It ran neck and neck with the Shield Plus, but had better sights and was optic ready.

The only Ruger I own is the Max 9. I like it, it's a snappy gun, shoots well with no issues so far. I carry my Hellcat mostly but I do like the feel of the Max so I may work it into my carry. The husband has an old Ruger that I won't mess with. I don't think he has for years.
I've wanted to try a Max 9 with the battery-less optic...:) I'm a big Ruger firearm fan, even though my daily carry is a Glock 19 Gen 5. I have a new model Ruger Vaquero that I doubt I will ever trade or sell. Every time I pick it up my few pairs of Cowboy boots seem to be nearby....:)
