The big boy

I like the .357 magnum and own quite a few of them. 😁
Never really cared for the .44 Magnum. Never got into the whole buck and roar thing. Just not my style and I never had a practical use for one. I do own two. A Winchester Model 94 Trapper and a 6" S&W Model 29-8. The S&W was left to me by a dear friend who passed away some years back. It was his EDC. I don't shoot it much, but I'll never sell it either.
Another friend had a Taurus Raging Bull in .454 Casull. Now that was a handful! But in the big Taurus, it was manageable.
I did get a chance to shoot a S&W 500 once. Once was enough. I have no desire to try that again.
My preference for big bore revolvers runs to the .44 Special and .45 Colt. Both are wonderful, mild shooting cartridges that can do anything that might ever be asked of a handgun without the pain and noise. ;)

Probably the worse one besides the 500, was the Ruger Alaskan in 454, that was a handful, I also had the DE in 50AE, didn’t think it was all that bad, also shot the Grizzly Win Mag in 45win mag, fun gun as was the 375JDJ in a T/C Contender, and yes, I owned all these at one time and sold them in my younger foolish days……
