In the dark corners of the internet, this is already being discussed, and Trump is already pissing off the current administration for his "broadcasting" intentions and soon-to-implemented policies. I have read that Mexico is currently planning accordingly for what you referenced. Keep in mind, this is from what most here would call iffy sources...

I'd expect lawsuits and injunctions in the near future with as many leftist federal judges we have...This will be a long and bloody battle. These people want this country to change, no matter the cost.

Let me start by saying that my lady friend of the last 9 years was born in Mexico and is also a citizen of the United States, over 25 years ago she moved to Texas and did all the right things to become a hard working tax paying citizen and she is also disgusted by what is going on at the border.
What is not shown on local media or discussed is how disruptive and dangerous the migrants are to the local population on the Mexican side of the border as they make their way to enter the United States wether it be legally or illegally. My lady friends mother and other family members still live and work in Mexico and have had their homes broken into and vandalized and vehicles stolen by migrants and the Mexican government has done nothing to protect its own people from these supposedly “peaceful” migrants.
What is also known by local Mexican authorities and not discussed by the US media is that 80-90% of the migrants are either criminals that have been let out of Mexican prisons or criminals from other countries that are sponsored by Cartels to
Try to get into the US by any means possible. This of course is being denied by the Mexican government.
It’s way past time to get tough at the border but it will be close to impossible to fix this problem without the help from the Mexican government and unfortunately they have shown and proven they just don’t care.

There it is. Mexico should stop these migrants at their border up north, not wait until they are at southern border. If they refuse to deal with problem we should refuse to help Mexican government. Plus, when they cross into our country we should treat them as criminals and deport them asap.

Trump is assembling a high powered team of people with "Git 'er done" attitudes and abilities. We will see some progress but the liberals will use everything in their playbook to hamper him. I have thought he has the authority to completely seal the border. That would be an economic disaster for Mexico but would get their attention for sure. It will be a fascinating 4 years.

The problem with deportation is that they deport them through El Paso and they come right back in through Brownsville.

They could pull an Eisenhower on 'em. In the 1950s President Dwight Eisenhower rounded up a bunch of illegals, packed 'em on to cargo ships, took 'em down to Vera Cruz and dumped 'em on the dock. That's roughly 500 miles south of the border and made coming back difficult.
Sounds like a plan to me.
