Who doesn't love those darned things! Fun to shoot in any cartridge! Lever history 101..........well I think it is? With 2 45-70's and a 44mag ready to work I wouldn't mind having more in a few other cartridges and calibers!

Good article TRL , I have a few in different calibers. Marlins (pre-Ruger) in 30-30 and 45-70 (1895 SBL), Henry's in 357 mag, 44 mag, 45-70 (Big Boy X models), and 45LC in their Big Boy Silver (goes nicely with my Uberti 1873 Cattleman in 45LC), and my expensive collection piece, a Winchester 1873 44-40, with the production date of 1889 (15-16 years after model first introduced).
