I did not bring my religion into this in an attempt to proselytize anybody.
My worldview and my outlook on life are based on my religious beliefs.
Really, and I want to be very careful how I say this, everyone in the world their worldview and their outlook on life is based on their religious beliefs even if they're religious beliefs are no religious beliefs.
If I just said "I don't have a lot of Hope for the future of America as a constitutional republic" that's meaningless unless I can tell you why I don't have a lot of Hope for the future of America as a constitutional republic.
I'm also going to say that my post about communism and my post about religion were really too facets of the same idea.
I absolutely believe the religious statements that I made. I also absolutely believe what I said about America being in the middle of a quiet communist takeover.
I just happen to believe that the one is going to be the mechanism that brings about the other.
Again, kudos to you for sharing your beliefs. Out of curiosity, and curiosity only, do you live in a rural/conservative suburb area or in/around one of the blue sanctuary cities? Or in one of the Communist states?
I only ask because I believe that experience is what forms people’s beliefs more so than doctrine. Watching folks living in any urban stronghold in the US on a daily basis would certainly indicate the end (of freedom) is near.
I grew up right outside of St. Louis (Florissant), right next to Ferguson. I left in 1976. I was depressed when I watched Ferguson burn on MSM - used to be a place you go anywhere, anytime. Spent 3 years in Colorado Springs - long before Colorado went whacko like it is now - left in 1980. Spent 2 years just outside of Phoenix (Maricopa County). Left in 1982 - but it was pretty tame back then. Spent 3 years in Okinawa, irrelevant to this post - left in 1985. Been in West Texas since 1985 (with a 15 month vacation to Lajes Field in the Azores 1994-95). “City” of now 130,000. Grew up in St. Louis, as I mentioned. A “city” has more than 130,000 residents

.
I can, with 99.99999999999% certainty, assure you it will be a long, long, long, time before someone bangs on my door demanding my guns (or anything else). Not in my lifetime, for sure. Not in my 45 YOA and 37 YOA lifetime, for sure. My grandson will be 10 in October. I doubt our Constitution will fall in his lifetime either (but I’m not naive enough to believe there won’t be a war or two in his time, that the US may or may not win if the Dems have their way).
I don’t experience the nonsense in Houston, DFW, San Antonio, Austin, etc., so I haven’t given up yet. Heck, our Governor even sent in DPS when Austin decided to “defund the police”, after the residents started whining about increases in crime. Of course, then those same residents whined about DPS enforcing the law

. My little city is not going to be defunding the police any time soon, from my experience.
Again, IMO, and this is just my opinion, life experience is the driving factor of what people believe will happen in the future.
