We shop at the local air force base commissary. My wife also works there. The shelves are bare when it comes mtg a lot of items. Its not because of food shortage its because there isn't enough stockers to put on shelves and not enough workers to order food supplies in. It seems nobody wants to work! How do people survive if they don't want to work? This country is going to change big time within the next 10 years and it won't make a difference who is in charge of it, we are in for some hard times because of lazy people.
To your point, one of my favorite quotes:

"Hard times create strong men,
Strong men create good times
Good times create weak men
Weak men create hard times."

The (semi) good news is we are heading into hard times which means the end of a crappy cycle

Even though the thread you mentioned is a year old, it's worth noting that some issues like food shortages can have long-lasting effects, and it's essential to continue addressing them. While I can't provide real-time updates on the situation, I can still offer some general advice on managing your diet and staying fit during challenging times.Additionally, home-cooked meals are generally more affordable and healthier than eating out or ordering takeout. You can find recipes online that are both nutritious and budget-conscious. Websites like fitnessclone.com can provide valuable insights into celebrity workout and diet plans, including Chris Pratt's, which often emphasize balanced and sustainable eating habits.
Man that post made me want a plate of deep fried chicken and mashed taters.

First it was ammo. Then the shortage expanded to popular firearms. Now it appears to be that food has become short in supply. These pics were taken last night in a local grocery store. Bare shelves are tending all over no mater where you go. Looks like I will be tightening my belt another notch while my bank account gets thinner as well. Sorry state of affairs. Can't wait for November!

Looks like stocking issues! Walmart stocks most stores after they close for the night.
