That is a really nice setup. I will say this, if doing some trekking through the woods or thick brush I would definitely figure out how to keep stuff getting into the barrel with it being muzzle up.I don't know either, so I thought I'd post the picture. Hope you get an answer.

I check a couple sites and they had a close-out on the Pintler so I assumed (wrongly) that it was discontinued. My bad.Interestingly, I received an email from Breach Bang Clear, that had an article about Mystery Ranch Packs, their history and several different links to more articles about Mystery Ranch products and news. (see below link).

Also, on their website, it looks like the Pintler is still listed as available next to their Sawtooth 45 product, that Mystery Ranch CEO @Talyn mentioned prior

That set-up is mainly used in the west when hiking in or out of an area before the season or during when going into an area before sun-up or heading out. Especially if going up difficult terrain when you need your hand handy. That is a really nice setup. I really like the heavy duty wide waist support.
No biggie, I just noticed it on their website. Maybe they're cutting back preparing to discontinue it and only offering on their website. Regardless, It's an interesting company I knew nothing about until this thread and the timely email I received about them.I check a couple sites and they had a close-out on the Pintler so I assumed (wrongly) that it was discontinued. The owner used to run/own Dana Design packs/gear (still have/use some Dana Design stuff) before he sold it to another Company then he opened up MR.No biggie, I just noticed it on their website. Thanks a million. While I may not find the exact bag, I think you may have introduced me to a new bag company! Appreciate it!Upon further research it looks like a Mystery Ranch Pintler (now discontinued) and likely replaced by a Sawtooth 45.
